Lightning takes the shortest path to earth. We make sure that path is ours, not your building's.

TrueNorth United designs, installs, audits and rectifies lightning protection systems across condominiums, landed housing, commercial buildings and industrial plant — and runs the electrical installation those systems protect. Every report is written against SS 555-2018 and IEC 62305; every electrical work order is endorsed by an EMA Licensed Electrical Worker.

The protection chain

A lightning protection system is only as good as its weakest link. We are responsible for all four.

Air termination

Rods, masts and mesh sized to the rolling-sphere method so a strike is intercepted before it reaches the structure.

Down conductors

Copper or aluminium tape routed on the shortest, straightest path, spaced and bonded to keep side-flash risk down.

Earth termination

Electrodes, test pits and bonding, with measured earth resistance recorded on every visit — not assumed.

Surge protection

SPDs at the incoming supply and at sensitive equipment, coordinated so the energy that does get in has somewhere to go.

How we work

We would rather tell you the system is fine than sell you copper you don't need.

Numbers, not opinions

Every earth resistance reading is measured on site and printed in the report, with the meter and the date beside it.

One team on the roof

The person who audits your building is the person who signs the rectification off. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor.
